4/30/2017 0 Comments Ed Sheeran Bruno Mars Shape of You That's What I Like 24K Magic Pop R&B Beat Instrumental 2017Hey Everybody! How's it going? Hope you all are awesomely well! More BRAND SPANKING NEW music for you all today! An uptempo pop/r&b ballad love song type instrumental beat. With this track I was inspired by a few current songs that are on the radio nowadays, like Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" and Bruno Mars' "24K Magic", "That's What I Like", and "Versace on the Floor". Those kind of mid tempo slow jams, shall we say. I have always loved the sound of the piano and because of love that sound so much, I want to incorporate it into as many compositions as I possibly can. That's exactly what I did on this track! I put together a very simple chord pattern and then built around that. In addition to the SUPER simple piano chords, I employed my favourite drum pattern with the layering of my favourite kick drum and clap on top of one another. I think it adds some much needed pop to not only the drums, but the entire track as well. I also threw a shaker into the instrumental, and to my surprise that adds, in my opinion, a REALLY cool shuffle feel to the beat. The title of the piece, "Spend the Night" stems from me wanting to produce more mature music, music that is more than just about meaningless sex and one night stands. This is one of those pieces that meant to give the mood of love making, and there is a difference between making love and having sex. I wanted to and have produced more original pieces that had more to do with the foreplay and afterglow of making love, basically everything around the act of love making itself. I hope you all enjoy it. I hope you all can take something from it. If you like what you see and hear, then please SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL. Thanks everybody. Talk to you all again soon.
Cheers, Leigh
