NCIS Moving To Mondays To Act as Lead In for NCIS Hawaii

CBS is making changes to its prime time programming schedule next season. The top network is moving one of its most highly rated shows, NCIS from its usual Tuesday at 8pm time slot to Mondays at 9pm, to act as a lead in for the new and upcoming NCIS Hawaii spin off.

According to TV Insider, the move is being made to give NCIS Hawaii a strong lead in. 

With NCIS shifting to Mondays, this will clear the way for an all FBI Tuesday prime time lineup, with each of the Dick Wolf created dramas occupying the 8 to 10pm time slots.
